new Delhi: Action star Vidyut Jammwal Disagree with the notion that one cannot be friends in Bollywood. He says that he is not the son of any star and remains in the industry due to friendship. Electricity said, ‘Ever since I came into this industry, I have heard that you cannot make good friends in the industry. I do not believe this belief. I am not the son of any star. I could only stay here because of friendship. A friend who said, “I believe in you, but I don’t have a budget.” So people are really standing with me and I am also standing with them.
The actor is all set for the release of his upcoming film ‘Yara’. The story of this film focuses on friendship. He recalled his experiences with his co-stars Amit Sadh, Kenny Basumatary and Vijay Verma. He said, ‘I can say that these people are very good friends of mine. When you watch the film, you can see that nothing is fake. The actor recalled an incident with Vijay during the shoot in Dehradun.
Vidyut Jamwal said, ‘I remember when we were sitting, I told him,’ You will become a very big star, boys’ and he started laughing. After ‘Yara’, he shot for ‘Gully Boy’. And since then I am proud of him. I had not been so proud of anyone for a long time. It is this friendship that is with Vijay, Amit Sadh and Kenny Basumatari. “Yara”, directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, is a Bollywood remake of the French film Gang Story. The film will be released on July 30 on G5 on Friendship Day.
