Lucknow: After August 25, premium foreign and imported liquor brands will start being found in shopping malls of Uttar Pradesh. Liquor sales license process will start from Monday, but drinking and drinking will not be allowed in these shopping mall premises. Additional Chief Secretary (Excise) Sanjay Bhusreddy said that in the last few years, the trend of shopping in shopping goods has increased rapidly, in view of which permission has been given to sell expensive foreign liquor. Customers can buy foreign brands imported from these shops, all brands of scotch, brandy, gin and wine made in India.
Premium and imported brands above Rs 700 will be available in shopping malls. With this, you will also be allowed to sell cans of premium and imported brand beer above Rs 160.
He informed that the annual license fee of AC shops has been fixed at twelve lakh rupees, which can be obtained by any person, company, firm or society. These shops will have the facility to enter the customers and choose the brand on their own.
Bhusreddy made it clear that all shops would be air-conditioned but no drinking or drinking would be allowed in the shopping malls premises. He said that the license process will start from Monday 27 July. According to Bhusreddy, the UP government cabinet had approved its decision to sell liquor in shopping malls a month ago.
