Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh has set a new record in the case of Kovid sample testing. On Sunday, 1 lakh 06 thousand 962 Kovid samples were investigated in the state. Uttar Pradesh’s Additional Chief Secretary (Medical and Health) Amit Mohan Prasad gave this information in the press beefing on Monday evening. Let us tell you that Uttar Pradesh is the first state in the country to examine more than 1 lakh Kovid samples in one day.
Earlier, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday instructed to continuously increase the capacity of Kovid-19 in the state and ordered to arrange for rapid antigen testing in every district hospital. During the review meeting of unlocked system at his government residence, the Chief Minister said that in districts with population up to 25 lakh, more than one thousand daily and more than 1,500 Kovid test in districts with population more than 25 lakh should be done through antigen kit.
He said that there should be a system of rapid antigen detection in every district hospital. Also, more than 2,500 tests should be done daily through a truenet machine. Uttar Pradesh Additional Chief Secretary (Medical and Health) Amit Mohan Prasad said that more than 50,000 antigen tests were conducted in the state on Sunday. At the same time, a total of more than 1 lakh covid tests were conducted, including RTPCR and True Net.
He informed that home isolation facility has started in the state, so far 3738 people are in home isolation. So far, 1,38,07,273 houses have been serviced in 36421 areas by surveillance, in which 7,73,00,206 people live. Amit Mohan Prasad said that the Chief Minister has said that oxygen should be provided in at least 50% beds in L-1 hospitals, oxygen should be provided on all beds in L-2 hospitals. In L-3 hospitals, ventilators should be provided with oxygen on all beds.
