Trinamool Womens Congress plants trees in Phulbari through Samiana program Siliguri News Updates

Rajganj, July 26: The Trinamool Mahila Congress has taken a program of planting 1 lakh trees across the state. The program has been named as Samiana. The program was inaugurated by State Tourism Minister Gautam Dev. In addition to tree planting, about 2,000 saplings were distributed on the day.

In this regard, Tourism Minister Gautam Dev said that the Trinamool Women’s Congress has taken initiative to plant 1 lakh trees across the state through the Samiana program.

Apart from the tourism minister, Jalpaiguri district council chief Debashish Pramanik, gram panchayat chief Dilip Roy and other leaders of the Trinamool Mahila Congress were also present on the occasion.
