Jalpaiguri: A Path Sabha was organized by the ruling Trinamool Congress in the Thoothpakari area under Jalpaiguri Bahadur Gram Panchayat on 21 July Martyr’s Day and against increasing the prices of petrol and diesel. In this meeting held on Sunday night, District President of Minority Cell of Bahadur Gram Panchayat, Motahar Hussain, Block President Rizaul Karim, Bahadur Zonal President Masidar Rahman, Former Zonal President Rafiqul Islam, Panchayat Samiti Member and Teachers Association Convener Deepu Rai, Women Other party leaders and workers took part, including Netri Anjata Sarkar. Addressing the gathering, Trinamool leaders expressed their views against organizing Martyr’s Day on July 21 and raising the prices of diesel and petrol. Trinamool leaders accused the central government of disturbing the country’s economy by selling national assets. At the same time, these leaders said that by adopting the anti-people policy on the central government, the country would suffer huge losses. The Trinamool leaders called for people to unite against it, accusing them of harming communal property in Bengal. Along with this, masks were distributed among the people during this program, as well as a public awareness campaign regarding the corona epidemic.
