The Punjab Petrol Pump Dealers Association Punjab today announced the closure of all petrol pumps across Punjab. This decision has been taken because Punjab has more tax than Haryana. Because of which petrol pump dealer owners say that they are suffering a lot.
What is the cost of fuel in metros today
There was no increase in the rates of Petrol price today and Diesel price today for the third consecutive day. The reason for this is that there is no movement in the crude oil rate. Business activities are again sluggish due to the increasing outbreak of Coronavirus. This has also affected the oil market.
Due to this, there was no increase in the price of diesel for the third consecutive day. The price of petrol is also stable for the 30th consecutive day. In the first two days of Monday, the price of diesel in the country’s capital Delhi was increased by 30 paise per liter.
According to the website of IndianOil, the price of petrol in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai remained unchanged for the 30th consecutive day at Rs 80.43, Rs 82.10, Rs 87.19 and Rs 83.63 per liter respectively.
In the four metros, the price of diesel has been increased to Rs 81.94, Rs 77.04, Rs 80.11 and Rs 78.86 per liter respectively. Diesel is being sold at a higher price of Rs 1.51 per liter than petrol in Delhi.
