Under this, three types of double packets have been launched in the market for Rs 15-40. The company has set a target of increasing its revenue more than doubled to Rs 25,000 crore in the next five years.
Bread business worth Rs 5300 crores in India
Please tell that Mother Dairy is the major company supplying milk, ice cream and other milk products in Delhi-NCR. Mother Dairy Managing Director Sangram Chaudhary said in a video conference that we are diversifying into the confectionery and bakery segment with our bread offering. The bread business in India is about Rs 5,300 crore. It has been growing at an average rate of 10 percent for the last five years. White bread is the most consumed.
Three types of bread were introduced in the market
He said that in view of this, the company has also introduced sandwiches, brown and fruit and milk bread at the rate of Rs 15-40 per packet. These breads are being made through another company. Currently, 1,800 milk of Mother Dairy and these breads will be available at ‘successful’ sales centers in NCR. The company has set a target of earning Rs 100 crore from the sale of bread during the next three years.
Business target of Rs 25 thousand crore by 2025
Sangram Chaudhary said that the company has introduced about 20 new products in the market. There are also five types of sweets. He said that the current annual revenue of Mother Dairy is about Rs 10,000–11,000 crore. The company has set a turnover target of Rs 25,000 crore by the year 2025. However, due to Kovid-19 this year, there may be some drawbacks.
