He made this remark when Jyotiraditya Scindia broke away from Congress a few months ago and now Sachin Pilot has rebelled. Chaudhary said, “There is a section of very ambitious young leaders. They are getting restless and feel that they are not getting proper rights in the party. In such a situation, they are looking for an option to satisfy their personal aspirations. ”

He said, “This is happening because the perception is growing that the Congress is not going to return to power at the Center very soon and in such a situation the party will not be able to fulfill all their demands.” Therefore, they are leaving the party or are planning to do so. ”

In the context of Scindia and Pilot, the senior Congress leader said that these two young leaders were never ignored in the Congress. He rejected that Scindia had won the election in Madhya Pradesh as the head of the party’s election campaign committee. Chaudhary said that Scindia would not have lost the Lok Sabha elections if this had happened.

In the context of Pilot, he said, “If the only reason for the Congress victory in the 2018 Rajasthan assembly elections was Pilot, then why would our performance in the 2019 Lok Sabha election have been so bad?”

On the question related to leadership crisis in the party, Chaudhary said, “There is no leadership crisis in our party. All this media is born. Sonia Gandhi is our leader and no one should question her political acumen because under her leadership the Congress won the Lok Sabha elections twice in 2004 and 2009. ”

He said that Rahul Gandhi is the only opposition leader in the country who is constantly criticizing the Prime Minister and his policies.
