At the same time, the Maharashtra government has refused to give the matter to the CBI for investigation. Maharashtra Minister of State for Home Shambhuraj Desai told Zee News, ‘From the very first day in the Sushant case, the Maharashtra Police and Mumbai Police are fully investigating it. Whatever has been revealed, the entire investigation is going on from Mumbai Police by taking on record and in such a situation, this Mumbai Police and Maharashtra Police are constantly working here. The name of Mumbai Police and Maharashtra Police is in the whole country.

He further said, ‘Their investigation is going on right now. Many people are being called to inquire about it. Their statements have been recorded. Mumbai Police is constantly investigating and in such a situation there is no reason to give this case to CBI.
