Srinagar: After the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, the security force is in full form. Since January this year, 142 terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir have been made the security forces. Kashmir zone IGP Vijay Kumar said that in the last 6 months more than a dozen dons of terrorist organizations like Hizbul, Jaish and Lashkar-e-Toiba have been killed. Major terrorists killed this year include Riyaz Naiku, Junaid Sehrai, Waleed Bhai and Ishfaq. With the elimination of these terrorists, the waist of terrorist organizations has been broken.
Tightened knuckles on over ground workers
The Jammu and Kashmir Police has now focused on the Over Ground Workers (OGW), working on a new strategy. After the interrogation of these OGW, many terrorist hideouts have been busted in Kashmir Valley. Large amounts of weapons have been recovered from security forces.
Focus on human intelligence increased
Security forces have also focused heavily on human intelligence this year to reach the terrorists. Most of the hundreds of cordon and search operations conducted in the valley have been successful. Through such operations, security forces have arrested 9 active terrorists this year.
Doda and Srinagar districts declared terrorist free
The swift operations against the terrorists of security forces have created panic among the terrorist organizations. For the first time this year, Doda in Jammu and Srinagar district militants in Kashmir have been declared free. With this, the Tral area of South Kashmir has also become terrorist free. All the terrorists operating in these areas have been killed by the security forces.
Kashmiri youths are not getting recruitment for terrorist organizations
Terrorist organizations are not getting new youth for recruitment due to the strictness of the security forces. This is the reason that this year there has been a decline of more than 50 percent in new recruitment in terrorist organizations. According to the police, many local boys no longer want to join terrorist organizations. They are now seeing their future in studying and joining the mainstream of the country. This is a big sign that the condition is normal.
250 terrorists are waiting for infiltration across LoC
Panic has increased in Pakistan due to the effective control of terror in Jammu and Kashmir. As a result, it has increased incidents of ceasefire violations on the LoC.
