Through this card, passengers will get cash back reward (Reward) for booking tickets. By booking AC-1, AC-2, AC-3, CC class train tickets, customers will also get 10% value back reward points. Union Minister Piyush Goyal said that all of us are trying to reach more than three crore cobranded IRCTC SBI RuPay card customers by December 25 (the birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee).
34 thousand crore earned every year
Goyal said that we book about 30 crore tickets online every year. Its total rent collection is about 34000 crores rupees. For this card, we have made 10 percent target of this 30 crore ticket, which is to be completed by 25 December 2020. Goyal said that he himself will monitor it once every month to see how far the number of customers connected to the card has reached. A team will be formed from all the three institutions which will monitor it and the railway minister will be informed about its number every 15 days.
500 joining fees
The Railway Minister said that for this card, a joining fee of Rs 500 has been fixed. But for customers who will get this credit card made by 31 March 2021, there is no joining fee for them. Not only this, 350 points will be added to their account as soon as the card is activated. The cost of each point will be 1 rupee and this will result in the reduction of the railway ticket on the railway website.
The holders of this card of SBI and IRCTC (SBI IRCTC Credit Card) will get free access to premium lounges at railway stations four times a year. On filling petrol or diesel with this card, no credit card surcharge fee will be paid on the petrol pump.
