Rajasthan: BSP reached HC against 6 rebel MLAs, included in Congress

Jaipur: Bahujan samaj party (BSPRajasthan ()RajasthanThe ruling Congress (of six party MLAs)Congress) The writ petition has been filed in Rajasthan High Court challenging the merger. BSP state president Bhagwan Singh Baba has confirmed this in his statement.

Explain that Sandeep Yadav, Wajib Ali, Deepchand Kheria, Lakhan Meena, Jogendra Awana and Rajendra Gudha had won the BSP ticket in the 2018 assembly elections. After which in September 2019, all of them left the BSP and joined the Congress. Significantly, the merger of BSP MLAs into the ruling Congress had strengthened the Ashok Gehlot government of the state and the Congress’s strength had increased to 107 in the 200-member assembly.

Earlier, BJP MLA Madan Dilawar had filed a fresh petition in the Rajasthan High Court on Tuesday challenging the decision of the state assembly speaker on his complaint against six BSP MLAs joining the Congress. Which the High Court rejected on Monday, saying that it has now become meaningless as the Speaker passed the order on Dilawar’s complaint.
