new Delhi: Indian Railways is continuously working on plans to provide its services to all the passengers of the country. Meanwhile, Indian Railways has decided that new services will be started soon by adding some state capitals. This will benefit the local residents to travel easily to other states of the country.
Work will be done to connect these four states
According to the information received, the Railway Board is now working towards connecting all the capitals of the North-East states with the Rail Network. According to Indian Railways, in the next three years, the capitals of all the seven states of the north-eastern states will be connected to each other. This will facilitate the local residents to travel.

Railway Board Chairman (Railwy board Chairmen) Vinod Kumar Yadav says that preparations are being made to connect the capitals of Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Mizoram and Sikkim to the railway track in the North-East. Indian Railways will add all the states present in the North-East in the railway map for the next three years i.e. by 2023. Mizoram, Meghalaya and Manipur will be added by 2022 under the scheme. While there is a plan to connect Sikkim and Nagaland by railways by 2023. Let us tell you that the capitals of Tripura, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh have already been connected with the railways.
It is noteworthy that Indian Railways is currently working on connecting those states where the rail service has not started yet. Under this scheme, the work of connecting Jammu and Kashmir with the rail network is going on. With this, all the northeastern states have not yet been added to the country. Soon railway services will start for these states as well.
