Patna High Court seeks response from Bihar government regarding Corona, hearing on August 7

Patna: Patna High Court on Friday Bihar governmentInstructed Su to present details of steps taken to deal with the Kovid-19 epidemic in the state.

A division bench of Chief Justice Sanjay Karol and Justice Sanjay Kumar also asked the state government to present district-wise information about how many tests were conducted and how many tests were proposed to be conducted.

The court also questioned how many hospitals have been notified as special Kovid-19 centers. The bench also asked the government to tell how many separate habitat centers are there in the hospitals. The court also sought information about the facilities, number of doctors, paramedical staff, number of ventilators and oxygen cylinders for the patients.

The court passed the directive on a PIL filed by Dinesh Kumar Singh. Dinu Kumar, counsel for the petitioner, argued that the number of corona virus patients in the state is increasing rapidly and there is no adequate system of tests and treatment. The next hearing in the case will be on August 7.

Let me tell you that the cases of corona in Bihar are increasing continuously. The number of corona infected in the state has increased to 33,511 and 221 people have died. At the same time, 22,832 infected people have become healthy in the state so far. The recovery rate of corona infected persons in Bihar is 68.13 percent.
