Nitish Kumar reviews meeting regarding floods, important instructions given to officials

Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Held a review meeting on Wednesday regarding floods. During the review meeting, he gave many important instructions. He said that August and September are yet to come. Most of the floods occur in August and September. Complete preparation for August will have to be done from now.

He has asked the officials to prepare fully for the floods. Also, the CM has ordered to make full preparations to take the affected people to higher places. They have said that this time it is raining in a unique way. On one side there is the problem of corona, on the other side there is flood.

CM said that it is not known about Corona, when and who gets infected. Give a mask to everyone in the relief camp, arrange doctors. Those who stay in the relief camp, get their corona test done and now antigen test can be done in all the blocks. It has also asked to increase the number of antigen kits in flood affected areas.

The CM said that during the Kosi tragedy in 2008, a mega relief camp was built for 10 thousand people in Saharsa, which was praised everywhere. Relief camps will have to be built according to the need so that the problems of people can be reduced.

CM Nitish Kumar held a flood meeting with officials of 12 districts through video conferencing in a well-known dialogue at Anne Road. In this meeting, Principal Secretary of Disaster Department informed that 36 lakh population of 101 blocks of 12 districts are affected by the floods.
