The proceedings of the Bihar Legislature regarding the Corona transition have been called at the Samrat Ashoka Convention Center. All the meetings of the monsoon session will be held in the Gyan Bhawan of the Convention Center. The proceedings of Bihar Legislative Assembly and Legislative Council have been called in Gyan Bhavan itself.
The proceedings of the Bihar Legislative Assembly will run in the second floor auditorium of the building. 242 members will sit with Social Distancing. Seating capacity in this hall is in hundreds. At the same time, the Legislative Council proceedings will run in the first floor auditorium of the convention center.
The council’s 55 members will sit in an auditorium of more than 250 capacity. The monsoon session will run from August 3 to August 6. New members will be sworn in on the first day of Bihar Legislature. In addition, on August 3, the first supplementary budget for the financial year 20 21 will also be presented.
At the same time, on the second day of the monsoon session i.e. on August 4, the state legislator and other state work will be settled. On 5 August, the first supplementary budget for the financial year 2020-21 will be debated and voted on. Voting will also be held from members to pass the Appropriation Bill. On August 6, the last day of the monsoon session will be done by non-government members.
