One such bold warrior of the Indian Air Force is the first woman pilot Gunjan Saxena. On Sunday, on the occasion of the 21st anniversary of Kargil Vijay Day, pilot Gunjan Saxena paid tribute to the martyrs of Kargil. Gunjan Saxena is also known as ‘Kargil Girl’.
Recalling the martyrs on Kargil Day, Gunjan Saxena said, ‘Salutations to the brave men who were martyred in battle and saved the pride of the tricolor.’
