India-China talks on border dispute today, diplomats of both countries will hold talks

new Delhi: There will be a discussion once again at 12 noon on the border dispute between India and China. This time there will be joint secretary level diplomatic talks between the two countries. The diplomats of the two countries will discuss efforts to resolve the border dispute. Let us tell you that earlier on July 14, the fourth meeting of the Corps Commander Level took place.

Earlier on Thursday, India said that maintaining peace and stability along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) is the basis of bilateral relations with China. India hopes that the Chinese side will take a sincere effort to completely withdraw its troops from eastern Ladakh.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Anurag Shrivastava said in an online media briefing that maintaining peace and stability in the border areas is the basis of our bilateral relations. Therefore, it is our expectation that the Chinese side will work sincerely with us for complete withdrawal and reduction of tension from the border areas and restoration of complete peace and stability as agreed between the special representatives.

In order to reduce tensions between the armies of the two countries in eastern Ladakh, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi spoke for nearly two hours on telephone on July 5.

After this dialogue, both sides started the process of repelling their troops from the disputed places from July 6.

Srivastava said, “We have also made it clear that India is fully committed to monitoring and respecting LAC and we will not accept any unilateral attempt to change the status quo on LAC.”

He said that during the talks between Special Representatives, both sides have agreed to completely withdraw troops from LAC and reduce tension in the border areas for complete restoration of peace and stability.
