Kolkata, 27 July. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has claimed on Monday that the state government has so far spent two and a half thousand crores in the war against Coronavirus. On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the state-of-the-art Corona Sample Investigation Laboratory in Noida, Mumbai and Kolkata. It was also attended by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray along with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. During this time, the Prime Minister said that the inauguration of the new laboratory would increase the capacity of corona investigation further. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee spoke after Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that there are 81 such laboratories in the state where corona samples are being examined. More laboratory control is needed to control the epidemic. He also said that there are 106 safe houses in the state.
Actually, these are new centers built as quarantine centers where corona patients are being treated. After this, Mamta claimed that West Bengal has spent Rs. 2.5 crores till now in the war against Coronavirus.
