new Delhi: An FIR has been lodged against JNU’s research scholar Sajid bin Saeed at Kapashera Police Station in Delhi. Sajid is also the President of the Campus Front of India.
Sajid had made a controversial tweet against the Army and about Kashmir, after which an FIR has been registered against him under sections 153A and 504 of the IPC.
This was filed on July 8 on the complaint of a person named Tajinder Yadav.
Explain that according to Section 153 of the Indian Penal Code i.e. IPC, if a person targets a person out of spite by making provocative things and such speech or statement may result in a nuisance, in such a case under this section Can be registered.
