Elephant carcass recovered from Hila tea garden in Nagarakata Siliguri News Updates

Nagarakata, July 26: Forest workers of Khunia Range recovered the carcass of an elephant from Section 19 of Hila Tea Garden in Nagarakata Block.

According to local sources, a herd of wild elephants entered the Hila tea garden from Jaldhaka forest on Sunday night.
On Monday morning, the workers came to work in the 19th section of the tea garden and found the elephant dead. After that the news was given to the forest department. Upon receiving the news, the forest workers reached the spot and recovered the carcass of the elephant.
