Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday directed that in the areas where there is corona virus infection, surveillance teams will once again go and identify people who have symptoms. Additional Chief Secretary (Medical and Health) Amit Mohan Prasad said that on Monday, the Chief Minister directed that surveillance teams will go door-to-door to identify such people who have symptoms. Prasad said that such people will be identified and antigen screened and appropriate treatment will be given if they get infected.
He said that such information has been received that many people are hiding the disease despite knowing it. In such a situation, it was considered whether home isolation can be implemented with certain conditions. It has not been decided yet, as soon as the final decision is made, it will be told.
He informed that there is already a three-tier system of medicine from the government, L-1, L-2 and L-3 hospitals, which have more than one lakh 51 thousand beds.
Additional Chief Secretary said that a ‘semi paid facility’ has also been arranged. Hotels in many cities have been contracted for this. The cost of ‘double occupancy’ (for two people living) will cost 2000 rupees per day i.e. one person will have to pay 1000 rupees a day. If you stay there for ten days, then you will have to pay ten thousand rupees for living and eating and Rs 2000 symbolic medical expenses.
Prasad said that the Chief Minister said that a total of 47, 381 Kovid help desks have been made in the state. Here people are being screened continuously with infrared thermometer and pulse oximeter. Early screening makes this easy. Identified persons are being identified and examined from the help desk in government and private hospitals.
He said that the interaction of people naturally increased during the period of unlock. When this is so, it is very important that we do not forget that activities have started but the transition is not over yet. Till there is no vaccine or effective medicine, then we have to protect and use the methods of rescue.
