Complete lockdown again in Bihar from July 16 to 31 | COVID-19,
The Bihar government has decided to lockdown the entire state again from July 16 to 31 in view of the rising outbreak of covid-19. Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi tweeted, ‘Bihar government has decided to lockdown from 16 to 31 July. All municipal bodies, district headquarters, subdivisions and block headquarters will remain closed for 15 days. Guidelines are being prepared for this.,
He said, ‘Korana has neither medicine nor vaccine. We all have to make sure to apply mask, towel or handkerchief on the face.
Sushil Modi said, ‘Bihar government has provided an amount of Rs 160 crore to all panchayats for mask and soap distribution. Recently, due to excessive lightning, tragic death occurred due to lightning, the government provided assistance of Rs. 4-4 lakh to the dependents of the dead. We have no control over the natural disaster, but the government is with the victims.
He said, ‘The Bihar government has made all preparations before the flood. Collection of all essential items including medicine, food grains, boats and necessary guidelines related to relief and rescue have been given.
Sushil Modi said, “Taking the preparedness of the death due to chlamydia fever last year, complete preparations have resulted in negligible deaths this year.”
He said, ‘Our government is standing promptly with the poor in every calamity, the poor have the first right over the treasury’.
