The state health department has been advised that 14 tests should be done at least per one lakh daily. This way 140 tests per million are required in the state daily. With this, the State Health Department has been instructed to increase the number of Kovid-19 hospitals in the state. A plan should be made to provide adequate beds in hospitals so that corona patients can get better treatment. The recovery rate has also come down in the state, this is the reason for the biggest concern.
In the context of following the ICMR protocol, Union Health Secretary Luv Agarwal has urged to take steps in this direction immediately. In addition to the above, he has given several instructions so that the state can brake at the speed of corona infection.
