CBSE has released the results of Class 12th for 2020 (CBSE 12th result 2020). Students were not given any type of information before releasing the result.
Here is the pass percentage
The CBSE board has released the results of the 12th class examination (CBSE 12th result) on its official website cbse.nic.in and cbseresults.nic.in. This time, total 88.78% students have passed. This time the result is about 5.38 percent better than last year. Talking about the performance of students in the results, this time girls have performed better than boys. In class 12, 92.15 girls have achieved success, while in case of boys, only 86.19 students have been successful. Apart from this, the pass percentage of transgender students has been 66.67.
New assessment rules
Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus, many regulations in the education sector have been changed this year. CBSE has also made some changes in its assessment rules. Know about them
- The results of the students of class 10th and 12th, who have taken the examination of all subjects, will be declared on the basis of their performance.
- The average marks of the 3 subjects of the students who appeared in the examination of more than 3 subjects will be extracted. Then other topics will be marked on the same basis.
- Students who were able to take only 3 subjects examination, the average of the best marks of their 2 subjects will be extracted. Then other topics will be marked on the same basis.
- Some students of class 12th (mostly from Delhi) were able to take only 1 or 2 subjects exams. Their result will be released based on the result of those 1 or 2 subjects and the assessment of internal / practical / projects.
These students, if desired, can also appear in the optional examinations conducted by CBSE.
1203595 students had registered for CBSE 12th Board Examination 2020 and 1192961 examinees had taken the exam. Out of these, a total of 1059080 (88.78%) candidates have been declared successful. If compared to the previous year, then the percentage of success is 5.38 percent more. In this year’s examination, students of 13109 schools took the exam and 4984 examination centers were made for them.
