Malda: An ambulance service has been started by the English market municipality to transport corona patients to the hospital. The ambulance service was launched on Monday afternoon in the presence of Nihar Ghosh, chairperson of the Board of Administrators of the English Shabazar Municipality and board member Babla Sarkar. The members of the Board of Municipal Administrators started the ambulance service on Monday by showing a green flag. According to municipal sources, an ambulance was earlier provided to transport corona patients to the hospital. Another ambulance is now being installed by the English market municipality. Member of the Board of Administrators of the English Bazar Municipality, Babla Sarkar said that an ambulance was provided by the municipality last month to reach the nearby medical center of Corona patients. Today another ambulance has been assigned for this task. He said that through ambulances, corona patients from different areas of the city will be immediately taken to the hospital.
