Kolkata: During the lock down announced by the West Bengal government till August 31, the movement of airplanes will remain closed for the 7 days for which the entire lock down has been announced. This information has been given in a statement issued by Kolkata Airport. In a statement issued on Thursday by the Airport Authority of India, the government of West Bengal has announced complete lock down on August 5, 8, 16, 17, 23, 24 and 31. Flight operations will be postponed for these 7 days, keeping in mind the lock down provisions. Those who have booked the flight on these dates will have to contact the concerned airline so that their flight can be rescheduled. It is noteworthy that corona virus infection is increasing rapidly in West Bengal.
