Siliguri, July 31: Rs 50,000 was recovered from the road near SF Road Gandhi Maidan.

It is learned that Biswajit Saha, a policeman on duty at Khalpara outpost, saw the bundle of money lying on the side of the road on Friday morning. He then recovered the money and came to Khalpara outpost and informed OC Sandeep Dutt about the whole matter. However, no complaint has been lodged with the police so far. Therefore, the request has been made on behalf of the outpost so that the owner of the money can come to the Khalpara outpost with suitable evidence soon.

Biswajit Babu said, 50,000 rupees is very important in this lockdown, so as soon as they get the money, they inform the media. Now the owner of the money can take the money with suitable proof.
